Since an early age, Brian has been a people person. Always thinking about how others were perceiving their situation and doing what he could to make people feel satisfied. While rehabbing houses, Brian could not understand how contractors would not return calls or show up when they said they would. He thought about all the people who deal with contractors and the frustration they must feel. With this simple principle in mind, Brian created Hogan Design & Construction. In his free time, Brian spends time with his wife and three children and off-roading in his Jeep

Chief Operation Officer (COO)

Brad started at HDC as a laborer and worked his way up the ladder to his current role as COO. Having seen things from every position in the company has allowed Brad to be fully invested in all operations . This also comes in handy in his role as Head of Sales. Brad really listens to the needs of the customers and can help create a project where all needs are addressed.  In every job that Brad has had he always worked his way into a position where people looked to him for guidance. Brad has been instrumental in developing the processes that make Hogan Design & Construction stand out in their industry. Striving to improve the customer experience makes Brad a natural for the Chief Operating Officer position. Brad lives in St Charles with his wife and two children.

Douglas Panozzo

Production Manager

Doug has always had a passion for construction and enjoys constantly doing home renovation projects at his own house. He spent over five years managing projects for a technology company before joining the Hogan Team in 2017. He is excited to bring his leadership, communication, organization, and attention to detail skills to Hogan Design & Construction. Doug is happily married to his wife Sara and has 2 children (Luke & Mila). He enjoys quality family time and appreciating the outdoors.

Project Manager/New Development

John has been interested in building since he received his first Fisher Price tool set. Upon graduating high school there was no question what field John would enter. John joined the HDC team as a laborer but his drive and eye for perfection helped develop him into the company's head trim carpenter. As HDC grew, John’s attention to detail led to him being promoted to Project Manager. John is married and has three sons. He lives in a house that he built from the ground up in Batavia.

Project Manager

Jason’s interest in carpentry began in his middle school wood shop class. Jason also went right into the construction field after graduating high school. Jason spent several years working for different contractors and found his home at HDC in 2011. Jason developed quickly and was a natural fit for the Project Manager role because of his hard work and focus on the details. Jason is a family oriented person and loves the outdoors.​

Mike Martin

Project Manger

Mike's interest in construction started with the purchase of his first foreclosed house. He fell in love with the remodeling process and took great satisfaction in seeing the project progress from start to finish. Already having a background in Project Management, the move to HDC was a no brainer for him. Mike has exceptional organization and communication skills mixed with a keen eye for budgeting, all of which makes him a great Project Manager. Mike is married with two children, and he looks forward to spending his weekends with them.

Project Manager

Brad started in remodeling at 19 as a laborer. Working his way up, he quickly became a “remodeling technician” by becoming skilled in carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and drywall. He moved into project management about 8 years ago. Brad focuses on customer satisfaction and making the messy, stressful process of remodeling as easy as possible. He is married, with a 2 year old daughter and a little one on the way. When not spending time with his family, he can be found up in Wisconsin chasing trout with a fly rod.

Tyler has been interested in numbers since high school and earned his degree in accounting from Elmhurst University. After working in the financial service industry for years, making the move to construction estimating was a natural fit for him. Working in both commercial and residential construction, Tyler’s unique background brings an additional level of budget and cost recognition to the HDC team. Tyler lives in Wheaton with his wife and son.

Head Carpenter

Carpentry runs in Mike’s blood. Mike would help work in his dad's tool shop from an early age. Mike’s carpentry work led him on several mission trips to rebuild youth camps. From framing to windows or exteriors to custom cabinetry and trim work, Mike’s eye for perfection has made him a master in the carpentry field. Mike was a natural fit with HDC and was quickly promoted to Head Carpenter. Mike is married with two kids. In his free time, Mike is an active rock and country musician that performs 60-80 gigs a year.

Skilled Laborer

Matthew is a recent addition to the HDC team and brings his experience in the  water/fire/mold remediation field to the team. Matt purchased his starter home in St Charles in 2019 and spends his free time rehabbing the house. He is constantly striving to develop and add to his construction skill set and has found a home at HDC to do so. In his free time he enjoys vinyl records and building computers.

Laborer's Apprentice

Joe is a new addition to the labor team and new to the construction field. He is studying part-time and learning as much as possible about construction management. He is focused on working his way up the ladder as his knowledge and skill set continues to grow. Joe is a hard worker and extremely eager to apply all the competencies he is developing on the job and at home.

Sales Administrator

Leann brings her years of administrative and management experience in the advertising and marketing fields to the Hogan team.  She really enjoys completing DIY projects at her own home so this business is a perfect fit for her.  Leann is a people person who wants to help enhance and build on Hogan's reputation for a high level of customer service, integrity and quality.  Leann, her husband and two daughters enjoy hanging out together and traveling.

Production Administrator

Jorie has always had a passion for customer service and integrity. She spent over 8 years in the Human Capital Department at a large cable company, where she learned to put her communication, leadership, customer service and organization skills to work. Since joining the Hogan Design and Construction team she has been added to their company processes to even further improve Hogan’s customer service and commitment to quality. Jorie enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and two children as well as volunteering within the community.

Marketing Administrator

Katie joins Hogan Design & Construction with a diverse background in the arts, program development, project & event management and marketing. Creating, building and connecting with people has been a focus in everything she does, and she is excited to continue growing and helping the community in our marketing and engagement role. Outside of work, Katie can be found painting, at the theater, trying something new (a serial hobbyist) and spending time with her family and friends.
