Edie Boutique | Geneva, Illinois

This commercial space needed to be up and running in just 4 weeks, with a Grand Opening set for Black Friday 2019. Since this was Edie’s 9th store, they knew exactly what they wanted and we were able to execute the project and meet their tight timelines.

The front door entrance was painted. Signage was added and an awning erected. The space came with plenty of natural light, so task and accent lighting was all that was required. The flooring was able to stay the same with minimal patchwork.

We gutted the space, removing fixtures and display cases left behind from the prior occupants.  A wallpaper treatment was applied to the main area interior walls, bringing texture into the room. The exposed brick of the exterior facing wall remained to create a warm and inviting feel with an urban edge. The soffits and tin ceiling were painted to match the overall look of the space while maintaining its architectural interest. The introduction of chandeliers and gold accents created a touch of elegance.

An archway wall and changing rooms were built to meet the store’s needs, provide a division of space and create a flow for customers to follow.  Store fixtures were hung to allow Edie’s merchandise to shine. A breakroom and storage area were completed to finish the plan.

The result is a beautiful and functional store that we are proud to have had a helping hand in launching in downtown Geneva, Illinois. We are excited to start on their 10th store opening in 2020.
