The homeowners were ready to begin anew with their kitchen. The tiny island and layout were not working for them and they wanted to create a space that fit their lifestyle better.
We removed the existing standard-height cabinetry and brought in custom white, floor-to-ceiling cabinets. A contrasting black, extra-large center island was built with a wine chiller and pull-out garbage to help with clean up. New pendant lighting was hung from above. The unique and colorful backsplash has an almost quilt-like appearance and adds personality to the space.
The refrigerator and office nooks were kept in the same locations with updated looks. The microwave was moved from the original island and built into cabinetry along the wall with the sink. The double oven was relocated to an underutilized location so that countertop space could be maximized close to the cook top. A new range top was installed and a custom hood built to complete the look.
Unfortunately it is not as simple as a cost per square foot. View our pricing guide to learn the average cost of a kitchen remodel depending on whether you want a refresh, a full renovation, or your dream kitchen.
