The homeowners approached us because their kitchen was becoming cramped, small, and outdated. They were looking to completely refresh the space while maintaining some of the original charm. Previously constrained by restrictive load-bearing walls and low structural ceiling lines, the home’s layout failed to support the open-concept flow desired for high-end modern living.

To achieve a true spatial evolution, we designed and executed a comprehensive structural overhaul. By strategically removing key load-bearing walls and restructuring the roof framing, we eliminated unnecessary boundaries. This newly unlocked square footage allowed us to make significant changes to the floor plan, relocating the kitchen, butler’s pantry, laundry room, and powder room into a more fluid and functional layout.

Preserving some of the original architecture was essential. Rather than erasing its history, we integrated select architectural elements from the original space into the more modern, luxurious design plan. Custom cabinetry, premium countertops, and updated fixtures and appliances, all woven together with the timeless aesthetic of the original space.

Throughout the entire project, the client’s vision remained front and center. The homeowners were impressed with our thorough process and could not be happier with the newly transformed space.
