The homeowners approached us because they needed better flow in their kitchen and more space to move around. We created a plan to reimagine the home, harmonizing luxury living with seamless accessibility and balancing high-end architectural aesthetics with intuitive, barrier-free functionality. Designed with forward-thinking "aging in place" principles at its core, the project ensures the home remains effortless and comfortable to live in for countless years to come.

We started by strategically opening up interior walls, which expanded the primary floor plan to increase natural light and dramatically widen traffic clearance. The reimagined kitchen now features spacious walkways that make navigating and hosting effortless. At the front approach, we elevated the porch structure and crafted a beautifully integrated, gently sloped walkway, creating a zero-step entrance from the driveway directly into the foyer.

Certified Aging-in-Place expertise was woven subtly throughout the home's luxurious details. High-CRI layered LED lighting minimizes glare while highlighting high-traffic zones, and low-profile textured floor transitions offer subtle tactile cues without introducing trip hazards. What started as a vision for better flow became a sophisticated, future-proof retreat that turns our clients' inspiration into a beautiful, functional reality.
