This walk-out basement is truly a dream-become-reality. This complete renovation starts with a fully equipped home theater, featuring tiered platforms with reclining seats. The large theater screen, mood lighting and rich dark wood creates a beautiful viewing space for any movie lover.
A large on-suite bedroom was added to accommodate guests and make for comfortable stays. A gym with shock absorbing flooring was installed so that the clients would be able to work out from the comfort of their own home.
A full bar was installed with plenty of storage and refrigeration to meet any mixologist's needs. A humidor was included for the cigar lover. We designed and converted an unused closet space into a one-of-a-kind, state-of-the-art wine cellar. A high top seating area gazes out upon the grounds and inviting fireside seating makes for a cozy, intimate setting. The stone accent walls behind introduce texture to the space. Two TVs set above the bar and fireplace allows for anyone in the room to see the game from any angle.
The coup de grâce of the basement space is the connected, convertible patio. The covered, brick-paved zone features built-in heat lamps and plank detail on the ceiling. A Phantom Retractable Screen was installed to convert the space into a three season room when needed. A gas fire table and television were added to create an inviting natural atmosphere for relaxing or entertaining.
