In this project, we added a great room addition off the back of the house which expanded the basement footprint. The homeowners wanted to use the additional space to accommodate an additional half bath and rec room for the family and their visitors.
Luxury Vinyl Tile was installed in the bathroom and hall. Plumping was installed for the vintage-modern sink and new toilet. A ledge was installed above the sink to allow for people to set small items and to hold the soap dispenser.
The multi-purpose rec room features fully mirrored closets. A mirror and bar were also mounted on the adjacent wall for at-home dance rehearsal. The framing of the ceiling was left exposed and painted for a loft-like feel. This large room was designed to be a flexible living space that can change as their children grow.
