What Goes Into A Kitchen Remodel in Northern Illinois?

Initial Consultation

We start with a free in-home visit to understand how you use your kitchen, what’s not working, and what you want to change. We take measurements, walk through your wish list, and give you a ballpark estimate before any commitments.

Design & Planning

Depending on the scope, we pair you with a designer or architect from our in-house team. You’ll see 3D renderings and elevation drawings of your new kitchen before a single cabinet is removed. Most kitchen designs take one to four months, depending on complexity and permit timelines in your municipality.

Fixed-Price Proposal

Once your selections are finalized (cabinets, countertops, appliances, fixtures), we lock in a fixed price before construction begins. If anything changes along the way, it goes through a documented Change Order so you always know the cost impact before we proceed.

Construction

Your dedicated project manager is your single point of contact from day one through completion. We hang dust barriers, protect your floors and furniture, and clean up daily. You can track progress through our online project management system from your phone or computer.

Limited Lifetime Warranty

We stand behind every kitchen we build with a Limited Lifetime Warranty, which goes far beyond the industry standard of 12 months.

 Timelines vary by scope. A surface refresh might take six to eight weeks. A full gut remodel with layout changes typically runs three to five months. We provide an estimated timeline during your initial consultation and keep you updated through our online project management system. 

Do I Need To Move Out During A Kitchen Remodel?

Most of our clients stay in their homes. We help you set up a temporary kitchen in another room and contain the construction area with dust barriers. For more extensive whole-home projects, some homeowners prefer to relocate temporarily, but it’s usually not necessary for a kitchen-only remodel.

How Much Does A Kitchen Remodel Cost In The Chicago Suburbs?
